The Sole
All Stòffa shoes feature an exclusive Lactea Hevea sole. This natural latex sole is made from the milk of the Cao Su tree, first used underfoot by the Maya over eight hundred years ago. Once harvested, the pure virgin milk is refined through a process similar to cheese making.
Origins
To complement the exquisite materials developed for our shoes we turned to fourth-generation shoemakers in Salerno, Italy. Specializing in soft constructions like hand-sewn moccasins and sock-style, this small team of artisans has developed a unique skill for crafting shoes that move in tandem with the foot and feel like a second skin.
