In Depth

Starting with the raw material, we re-engineered our signature cottons to stabilize the fabric so these trousers could be cold washed with minimal, predictable shrinkage. From there we designed a model with details that would age gracefully through the rigors of machine washing. We removed the internal canvas and skirting from the waistband and replaced it with a self-fabric, single-piece construction that feels harmonious and allows for even movement in the fabric.

Origins

Designed in collaboration with a family of third-generation trouser makers, our trousers are individually cut, sewn and finished at their workshop in Pavia, Italy. The patterns, silhouettes, and details are a product of this intergenerational expertise and the continuous feedback collected by our product specialists during client interactions and fittings.
